Realm: Malomaxdew/Miss’ and Phelps’ Realm

Our new map, Scatterlings, is waiting for players!

Old players that don’t have an invite just have to let me know and I’ll invite them.

Sometime tomorrow, Saturday the 5th of March, CET I will take down Raise Atlantis and put up the new world on the Malomaxdew/Miss’ & Phelps’ Realm. It hasn’t got a name yet (the one we had was too long for Realms so I will have to find a new one :)) and there is also no real theme.

The world is a really beautiful one with all important biomes within reasonable distance. There are three locations where we’ve built smallish town halls and players can choose to go to one of them or to be randomly spawned in (hopefully) wilderness. The thought is that the players can expand on the towns/cities as they please or choose to settle in the wilderness.

The rules have been greatly simplified and I hope the community will find it a nice place to chill out.

If you have any friends who you trust, you’re welcome to let me know their ign’s and I will add them.

Yay, new world!!!!

A long time has passed since I wrote anything here at all. To anyone still popping by now and then, I’m sorry for the lack of updates.

I was hoping to get a Snapshot Server going again during the 1.9 Snapshot process, but failed miserably. Finding a host good enough for us for the money I’m prepared to spend turned out harder than I thought, and laggy service and miserably bad control panels was something I was no longer prepared to deal with. I’ve never intended on earning any money on my server or even asking for help to pay for it, so I do have to control my budget to a point where it just isn’t worth it to start an ordinary server at the moment. This is even more true since I, because of health problems, find myself not being able to play and enjoy Minecraft most days because of debilitating motion sickness combined with my pain syndromes. Taking care of a server takes a lot of time, love, effort and skills – and it was truly worth every second of it while I could still play a lot, but it really makes it hard to motivate myself to try to pull myself together and get the expert help I need to create the awesome server I think my community really deserves…

I’m on the other hand not prepared to let go of it all, and still have hopes for the future. There will after all be a 1.10 eventually :).

Anyway, I’ve decided to hang on to this site and one of the two Realms. The forum will hopefully get a bit of an overhaul to remove old redundant sections and I’m moving everyone to the Realm I called Miss’ and Phelps’ Realm, but I’m going to change the name of it to Malomaxdew. I will work with Phelps100 and Miss_Xdew to prepare a new map. My plan is to make the map switch sometime this week and more information will follow.
