Hello everyone and welcome back to the Realm, this time featuring Scatterlings!

I hope you have enjoyed this first week back on the Realm, I know I sure have !

Now, you might ask: what is this Recap?
The recap is a way of looking at what has happened between recap posts to see what people have been up to and what is going on. So if you can't travel yet you can see what others are building, get inspired and motivated and above all have fun!

If you have any suggestions, additions or I forgot/did not find your builds please let me know and send in some screenshots for me. If you send in screenshots, there is a smaller chance I forgot to check your build again, plus we can do this more easily and perhaps even more often. For now, we still have to see how long there will be between recaps. Anyways, let me know what you think!

So to kick this off, let's start at the beginning.

Most of us probably started out here:

After accepting the rules and proceeding, you could choose where you wanted to go. Now you could pick a random location, but also one of three cities:


Capital City,


Icespike Cove, which has changed a bit since then,

And Dry Cliff City!

All very cool areas and definitely have some potential.


Now, in the short time the Scatterlings have been able to play, a lot has happened already. I could write a lot about this, and I will sure comment on some things, but a picture says more than a thousand words ! So let's look at the things I was able to find on the server!

First of all, this cool Enchanting Area in Capital City by LukasSss666! Looking good, adds a nice landmark to Capital City.


Then, if we hop into a purple portal and end up in a red hell, there has been some work done on a nether hub! From what I know, CucumberBob228 and MichaelSn spent some time on this and I was happy to be able to help them a little bit here and there! Some things that might be handy to know for you when you want to connect: the nether hub is located at 0 112 0, so aim for that when digging your tunnel. Straight tunnels are best to use the boat on ice trick (for questions about that ask around, I think a lot of people know what's up with that by now). There are four entrances, one for every cardinal direction. So hook up your tunnel to a tunnel that is connected to that direction . There has been done some thinking about crossings and we ended up with the design in the middle of the nether hub. To find out how it works, take a boat and try to go in some different directions! Anyways, on to the eye candy! Let's look at a picture already!


Then, if we move on to the homes of the Scatterlings we get a nice variety!

First home on the list is 00johansson00's. Looking cool, warm and cold at the same time! Love the iglo there as well


Swedog is the neighbor, not far away from 00johansson00. Also looking cozy! I also already saw something big being built, which I bet we will see more of next Recap.


Cryoghast has settled down in Capital City (at least for now) in this temporary home (I've heard some nice things are to come for the final place!)
He has already built a semi-tree and also a fishing farm!


Capital City seems to be haunted by undead though, looking at these horses! I heard obtaining them was a serious effort so congratulations on acquiring this rare breed!


LukasSss666 has also set up in Capital City in this awesome lake house!


Then we have CucumberBob228 and MichaelSn who have set up pretty close together, they already have beacons! Loads of progress already here as you see!



Tikki is floating around that place as well, yes I said floating! The start of a floating island here!


Then we have Dajn, who is planning great things! Here's the above ground situation, though the majority will come underground (at least that's what my reliable source tells me ;P)


Lord_Dagron and Lord_P1E have settled on this little island here, excited to see where this is going!


Next up are Maloma and MrMax_H! They took the sky is the limit as a challenge and found this very high mountain to settle down on. You should visit sometime to see the view! I've also heard building that high up can be quite frightening seeing as the roof is already a dangerous thing to build, let alone a hundred block deadly drop waiting to happen. I'm however happy to report MrMax_H has not fallen off!


Then Miss_Xdew and Phelps100! They have also decided to settle down in a mountain, near a desert village. Looking truly epic, though I am quite partial to mountain views . Looking cool already!


Then we have this WIP build by Starwars1139. Looking cool already, like that it is built next to a village, makes it look even better!


Then, over in Icespike Cove we have Woolwind's place! Looking cozy, but I have had some peeks of what she is inspired by for her place and I must say I can't wait to see how it is translated into minecraft!


I have been busy building my house as well and with some very generous quartz donations by CucumberBob228 I was able to finish the exterior already Looking for an interior designer to spruce up the inside a bit though!

In the Capital, a shop and a restaurant have popped up! Here's the shop by Phelps:


And the Elytra Restaurant (WIP):


Over at Dry City we have our first residents!


The Townhall in ISC has a roof finally but still needs a lot of work on the inside:


Then, if we look at the places people are making, we have this ghastly sight! Cryo did a great job with this!


Then Under The Dome here CucumberBob228 is making some sweet progress!


Near him some new people have setup shop! MagoichiSaika123 is building this I have been told:


And Mhecht is right next to them as well:


Dajn has made some nice progress as well!

Johansson has upgraded his residence as well! Look at this sweet house!


His neighbour swedog is expanding it seems!


Lord_Dagron has some nice Horses walking around on his island!


Lukas has beaten an ocean monument and set up on an island as well.


Miss and Phelps, as you know, are on this sweet mountain and have these nice stables near:

Welcome back to the third recap of the first 3(.5) weeks !

Awesome stuff happening around the server, always nice to see if you can't be on for a while.
That is why this recap is a little later

But let's quit talking, the recaps are more about images and impressions than me talking!
One last thing though! Be sure to check these builds out for yourself, I am only showing one angle. There is so much more to see

Let's start in the dark part of the realm: The Nether.
This awesome blaze spawner has been set up by MichaelSn:


Then on to the Capital where DunderHajen, RelaxingDavid21 & TheDonQuijote have built this amazing circular castle. Looking forward to what other hidden talents they have in store!



Near swedog and Johansson these cute buildings are popping up!



The Lords have expanded the house upwards! Looking good so far!



Lukas is doing some serious work here with this Monument! Look at how far he is already



MagoichiSaika123 is building this epic castle! It was hard to fit in frame, it was that great!



The ever dangerous adventures of Max & Maloma. Can you see what's about to happen here? I can assure you, yup it happened. No, luckily no one was harmed .



We saw a work in progress picture of this last time, but now the Market is complete! A place to sell your items! In the centre of Capital City



Mhecht2_old's place is coming along nicely as well!



And around the corner great things are being built between MichaelSn, Zneeaky and MagoichiSaika's place!For the ones that notice small details: yes I am using the default textures here and my slightly tweaked texturepack later on



The Minigames area is developing as well! Can't wait to try it out myself with a bunch of you.



Look at this cool place Miss_Xdew has built! Cutting edge building right there!



Back in the nether beneath ISC the Nether Fortress has been modified and the surrounding area has been slabbed! Perfect place to hunt for some of those black skulls! If you want to go hunting that is, because I have heard shops have started popping up!



Perfect segway into said shops: A wither skull shop by Zneeeaky and a Building Service by Rhaenon

Welcome back to this long overdue recap!

[Public announcement: Please put signs on your buildings so we know who built it, so we can give credit where credit is due!]

Stuff has been happening!
There's been dragon fighting even I've heard.
Here's a picture of the team:

For the awesome stories, chat around, there were some stories on the discord already. My intel says they did not just kill 1 but multiple dragons!

Then on to the builds!
In Capital City another community build has popped up, but to get to it, you have to walk over this awesome bridge by LukasSss666!


And then you get to the front door of this building (here viewed from the side):


But the best part is inside! A collection of all the players on this map!


Then, near the last build in CC we have a stairway down that leads to the Subway!


The castle that the subway leads to is coming along nicely!


Then on the other side of the world, where it is much colder, we have some new houses! Kydae has started playing minecraft recently and with some help is now living here:


Rob1998 has had time to build a house and some huge fields for farming and livestock as well!


Meanwhile, Rhaenon has been keeping busy and built an Interfaith Church in Icespike Cove.


If you happen to be near it at dusk, it will let you know that it is nearing night time!


Besides that, Kydae and Rhaenon teamed up to build these stables:
Where the improvements to the paths are just outside of the picture


Over in the nether tunnel to ISC, things have improved as well and I'm proud to say Icespike Cove is now hooked up with a MultiTrans© tunnel! Take a minecart, boat or just run!
Important notice here as well is the tunnel on the left by starwars, which is looking very cozy!


Speaking of starwars1139: There has been an installation of a cool tree farm with colorcoded wiring! Must've been a hassle to set up.


But let's go underground for a second and see what we can find, perhaps the great looking start of Dajn's base?


Or this amazing looking base by spinyxx?


Which, if we head outside, looks amazing at the entrance as well!


In Dry Cliff City, some old players have returned! Welcome back aguthrie, gustav348 and Empryzz!
Making some cool stuff already, look at this general store by Empryzz:


Or this cafe by aguthrie!


And aguthrie has started building a place also!


Over in the ocean near Dry Cliff City, this cool house has popped up near Lord_Dagron!


Speaking about oceans, the ocean monument! How is that going? LukasSss666 did most of it, and rhaenon jumped in so they worked as a team to clear it out, LukasSss666 following it up with this cool looking guardian farm!


And then, last but not least, Maloma and MrMax_H are setting an example by decorating their nether tunnel, just like starwars1139!
Let's follow their example and make the nether tunnel network look pretty!


Player activity this week shows that CET afternoons and evenings have the most players. With the return of some of our players from across the pond we think that the next player activity screenshot might even that out a bit!
